When I saw that “super moon” in the sky the other night, I was reminded of this painting I did for the cover of “While the World is Sleeping”.  The moon plays a big part in children’s literature, and there is a reason why…the moon is magic!  It is awesome, breath-taking, shape-shifting, ancient, eternal and constantly new.  Who doesn’t love the moon?
